If you feel comfortable in the first session we will suggest an additional 2 or 3 sessions to get more detail and explore whether it will be good to do further work together.
Some people need no introduction and express concerns and feelings easily. Others may need help to feel comfortable and make good use of the therapeutic process. Therapy is a collaborative process so the decision to continue after the first 3 or 4 sessions will be made together. For some, a few months work may be sufficient for significant changes to take place. More entrenched problems and life time patterns may take longer.
